Since 20 hours, system administrators world-wide are alarmed by the critical “heartbleed” bug detected yesterday in the OpenSSL library. This bug made more than 50% of world-wide secure web servers vulnerable for the past 2 years.
Anyone could read out private SSL keys and use them to decrypt data, user accounts and communication - traceless and also offline on all stored and recorded information. Yes, there are organizations sniffing and recording other people's secured data.
This is to inform you that the CineSat web services (MyFiles and Support Pages) are not affected by this threat - according to statements on the CentOS and the OpenSSL websites:
Just enter heartbleed in your browser search window to read more.
Your CineSat Support Team will always be aiming to keep you and your data safe.
